Madrid Spain Masters by Iberdrola begins
Everything is ready at the Centro Deportivo Municipal el Gallur to welcome the best athletes in the world.
Last Monday night, the definitive duels were set. After the last withdrawals were noted down, the athletes were able to see on the draws in which order and which rivals would finally step on the Madrid mats.
With such prominent figures as Pusarla V. Shindu (India), Kenta Nishimoto (Japan) or the Popov brothers (France), the fans of this sport will not be short of spectacle.
Many of them tried out the courts in Gallur yesterday as a last step of adapt to the venue. All those who came to the hall were able to pick up the tournament’s metal bottle that the organisers prepared as a gift, this bottle is also an ecological measure. The athletes were provided with water bottles they will need to refill, thus avoiding the plastic of the single-use bottles.
