Carolina Marín, last minute withdraw from the Madrid Spain Masters by Iberdrola
Carolina Marín will not be competing in the Madrid Spain Masters by Iberdrola after all. The tournament kicks off this Tuesday and will run until Sunday, March 31st at the Gallur Municipal Sports Centre. The high volume of competitions she has participated in has led her to take a step back and take a breath, although she expressed regret at not being able to compete at home.
“I’ve finally decided with my team that I won’t play the Madrid Spain Masters this week. It’s been weeks of hard work and I need to recover well after that effort. I’m very sad not to play at home, but we have to listen to our body”
