Great day at the Madrid Spain Masters by Iberdrola
The quarter-finals have been decided. And reaching them has been a tough battle for the players in the last sixteen of this World Tour Super 300.
Some duels, such as the one between Loh Kean Yew (Singapore) and Christo Popov (France) have left the audience at the Gallur open-mouthed. During three intense games, the two athletes showed why they are world top players.
Just as intense was Chou Tien Chen’s singles with an epic comeback in the last points that also left a nice moment with his coach Victoria.
The United States showed the great work they continue to develop with their national team by standing up to Chinese Taipei with the clash between Xu – Xu with Chang – Yang (Chinese Taipei). The Asian team went through to the quarter-finals by 21-12, 17-21 and 21-19.
